let sum for 6% rate is x,
so for 4% rate it will be 2000-x
now the equation will be like,
(x*6*t/100)+(2000-x)*4*t/100=120
2xt+8000t=12000
take t=1(as it is not mentioned in the question)
so we get x=(12000-8000)/2
=2000
