the answer is 45000. see the explanation given above by khushbu.But the final answer is wrong as the present salary is increased by 7000 so add 7000 to the answer i.e 38000

salary of each is increased by 7000
so add 7000
19x+7000/24x=7000=9/11
11(19x+7000)=9(24x+7000)
209x+77000=216+63000
14000=7x
x=2000
