Briefly describe about VGA.

- VGA stands for Video Graphics Array. VGA is super set of EGA.

- VGA provides higher pixel addressability.

- VGA has 7 sub-systems, namely graphics controller, display memory, serializer, attribute controller, sequencer and CRT controller.

- 256 KB of DRAM is divided into 4.6KB color planes. This memory is used to persist screen display data.

- VGA card consist of frame buffer.

- Present PCs boot in VGA text mode.
