Established in 1983, headquartered in Mumbai, India, ABACUS Infotech is a security company in IT & Security Industry that provides solutions for time attendance/access control system, access control solutions, CCTV surveillance system, fire alarm system and electronic security system for industries of all kind.

Here, I am going to discuss the selection process of campus placement at ABACUS Infotech.

Selection process at ABACUS Infotech

The recruitment process of this company has three rounds:

1. Written Test
2. Technical Interview
3. HR Interview

The first round is written test. It has two sections: Aptitude and Technical.
Aptitude section consists of quantitative analysis, logical reasoning and verbal ability while Technical section includes questions from C programming language, Operating System, Computer Organization, Networks etc.

Some of the sample questions of written test are,

1. If the numerator of a fraction is increased by 200% and denominator is increased by 400%, the resultant fraction is 12/18. What will be the original fraction?

2. 45 workers can do a piece of work in 20 days. How many workers would be required to do the same work in 30 days?

Technical Interview Questions asked at ABACUS Infotech

In technical interview, candidates are expected to be asked questions that relate to specific knowledge about the company's technical activities. Most of the questions are asked from C++, Java, .Net, Database etc. Refresh your technical concepts which are coming under the area of your specialization because technical round is bit tough. You need to have strong knowledge on your techncial skills.

1. What is a Class?

2. What is the difference between Clustered, Non-clustered and Unique Index?

3. What is the use of tempdb?

HR Interview Questions asked at ABACUS Infotech

The final round is HR interview. Most of the questions comprise of hobbies, interests, personal background, educational details, salary expectation and other projects as you mentioned in the resume. Sometimes they give certain situations, based on that you have to write test cases. So, be prepared thoroughly for the hr round.

3. Can you draw DFD? What is the difference between Flowchart and DFD?
