Application fee and payment modes for IBPS CWE.

What is the fee structure for different posts through IBPS CWE?


If an applicant is applying for the post of Officer (scale I, II, III) and he/she belongs to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or is a person with disability then Rs. 100 is charged as application fee.

All other candidates applying for the post of Officer (scale I, II, III) are charged Rs.600 as application fee.

If an applicant is applying for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and he/she belongs to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or is a person with disability or an Ex-servicemen then Rs 100 is charged as application fee.

All other candidates applying for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) are charged Rs. 600 as application fee. The candidate has to bear all the Bank Transaction charges for offline/online payment of fees.

How to use ONLINE MODE for payment of fees/intimation charges for IBPS CWE?


Candidate has to choose the mode of payment. Payment of fees/intimation charges can be done in two modes, online mode and offline mode.

Candidate should fill in the application form correctly and then press the “SUBMIT” button which is provided at the bottom of the application form. The application form is integrated with the payment gateway. If the candidates want to make the payment using online payment gateway then after uploading the photograph and signature, additional page of the application form is displayed wherein candidate should follow the instruction and fill in the required details.

Payment is to be made using internet banking or master card or credit card by providing information as asked on the screen.

If the online transaction is completed successfully then a registration number and password is generated which is supposed to be saved by the candidate for future reference.

After successful completion of the transaction an e-receipt is generated and candidate should take the printout of this e-receipt. If the online transaction is not completed successfully, then the message “Your online transaction was unsuccessful. Please register again” is displayed. In that case, candidate has to revisit the application form and fill in the application details again.

What precaution should be taken by the candidate when online mode is used to pay the fees for IBPS CEW application?


Once the payment detail is submitted candidate should wait for the intimation from the server. It takes some time to get the intimation that the transaction is successful or not. Unless and until intimation from server is received candidate should not press back button or Refresh button in order to avoid double payment.

Once the transaction is completed candidate should close the browser window to ensure the security of data. If the candidate uses credit card then all the prices are listed in Indian rupee. However if a candidate uses non-Indian credit card then the bank converts it to local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.

How to pay the fees/intimation charges using OFFLINE MODE of payment?


In this mode, payment of fees/intimation charges is made through any one of the CBS branches of banks like Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian overseas bank, Punjab National Bank and United Bank of India. Candidate should fill in the application form correctly and then press the “SUBMIT” button which is provided at the bottom of the application form. System generates a provisional Registration number and Password and is displayed on the screen. Note down the registration number and password for future reference. An e-mail and an SMS are sent indicating registration number and password. System generates a fee payment challan once data is submitted. System generated challan will be used while depositing fee so candidate should take the print out of this challan. Once the registration is complete fee payment is accepted at the CBS branches from second working day and can be made within three working days. Here comes the completion of registration process and after two working days from the date of payment of fees an e-mail/SMS is received which indicates the confirmation of registration. Candidate can also reprint the submitted application containing fee details, three days after fee payment.
