What is a course in Bachelors of Planning all about?

The Bachelor of Planning program is developed to provide the students with the knowledge and skills which are required for urban planning practice. The main focus of the program is the issues that are related to decision making and strategic planning. It makes a student to understand the concept of planning, development and management of human settlements.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a major subject and should have obtained 60% of marks. Candidates who have done diploma after 10 years of schooling with a 50% of marks in mathematics are also eligible. The medium of language in school should have been English.

Admissions are based on the marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2, NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) score, English essay followed by an interview. In few colleges, admissions are based on the marks obtained in JEE MAINS or JUEE.
