MPhil Programme in Women and Child Development is an exclusive program offered jointly by Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) and the Centre for Women's Development Studies (CWDS). This course is intended for those students who wish to question the silence around gender since this program is to inculcate a feminist sensibility among students.

The course includes studies through research projects, dissertation, thesis and other resources. The total number of seats in this course is just 10 and each student will receive a pay. This course is meant to appendage the development approach to gender equality with the interdisciplinary resources at AUD, in literature, film, psychology, sociology, history and expressive cultures fields.

It has been declared that this program will let selected MPhil students who may perform brilliantly, proceed to doctoral research upon completion of 18 credits of courses of the MPhil program without completing an M.Phil thesis. You can also get direct admission if you are a doctoral scholar of combined MPhil/PhD program. You will be exposed to special lectures, seminars and workshops will often be seen as a part of curriculum to strengthen course work.
