Krishi Karman award 2014
Madhya Pradesh bags the Krishi Karman award for record production of food grains in the year 2012-13.
M.P. is highest in the rate of production of wheat. Rice and gram. The award was received by the CM of M.P. Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
“India Pavillion”- an ASSOCHAM initiative in Vietnam
The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is organizing “India Pavillion” at the 24th Vietnam International trade Fair in the month of April.
Vietnam is India’s important trading partner amongst the ASEAN countries. The bilateral trade between both the countries is US $6.2 billion.
Plan to revive India’s first PSU
The cabinet committee of economic affairs has planned to revive the first ever Public sector Unit of India with the help of a capital infusion plan of Rs. 4,156.79 crore.
This company was incorporated in the year 1950.
Pepper spray in parliament
Congress MP from Vijaywada used pepper spray in the Lok sabha when Telangana bill was being presented in the house. Later he and other 5 MPs were suspended for 5 days for creating ruckus in the house.
The bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh for the formation of Telangana has been opposed by many MPs from Congress.
