Delhi CM, Arvind Keriwal resigns with his cabinet


Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his whole cabinet resigned from the government after his much ambitious Jan Lokpal bill was not allowed to be presented in the legislative assembly.

The whole cabinet gave its resignation to Lt. Governor Mr. Najeeb Jung. With this, Delhi is headed for a re-election as the biggest party BJP which has 32 seats has refused to form the government citing lack of numbers in the assembly.

Belgium allows mercy killing (euthanasia) for children


After legalizing euthanasia for adults, the parliament of Belgium also gave its permission for mercy killing of children with the help and advice of doctors. Before Belgium, only Netherlands has allowed euthanasia for children.

Acquisition of Time Warner cable of U.S. by Comcast


Comcast, USA’s biggest cable service provider is going to acquire Time Warner cable service provider in a deal worth $45 billion.

The new entity will have around 30 million subscribers in the United States and will become a cable service provider giant.
