Reliance Jio Infocomm has started rolling out mobile network and WiFi hotspots on pilot basis ahead of its plan to launch 4G later this year. The telecom division of RIL plans to use multiple standards for its 4G data offering and varying technologies including wire-line services.

T-Genco Formed in Telegana


The Telengana Power Generation Corporation Limited (T. Genco) has come into existence following the stamp of approval given by the Registrar of Companies. T-Genco is pegged to have an authorised capital of Rs. 1,500 crore.

Airtel Extends 4G to Ludhiana

Merrill Lynch Sells 1% Stake in Educare


Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana SA SV sold 4.08 lakh shares which is 1.03% in MT Educare. The stake was sold for 3.8 crores at $95.05 per share on the BSE. Shares of the company recently closed 2.20 percent up at Rs.95.05 on the BSE.

BSE Approves Merger of United Stock Exchange With Itself


The Bombay Stock Exchange approved the merger of United Stock Exchange with itself. The merger will take effect subject to the receipt of requisite statutory and regulatory approvals. USE created a record of registering a high turnover of Rs. 45,486 crore on its inaugural day in 2010.
