What is the remuneration of a film maker?


Depending upon the role of film maker and production house he/she is working with, the remuneration varies. Also the remuneration increases with the increase in expertise. However, a trainee or intern in middle size production house or under any individual filmmaker can earn between Rs 15000 and Rs 20000 per month.
But there is no limit for film maker. An individual project could earn some several lakhs. Also the giant corporate houses offer handsome money to film makers for promotional videos.

How do I progress in film making career?


For a new comer it is very important to get hands on experience and learning the skills and practical aspects of film making. And this involves a lot of effort to find a person you can give such a wide experience and willing to take you on. Also, you should be sometimes prepared to face rejections before landing an offer.
