Have you heard about the 4Cs model in marketing?


Yes. The 4Cs model was proposed by Robert F. Lauterborn in 1993 which is more a consumer oriented replacement of the 4Ps .They include:

a.Consumer which has replaced product ,consumer satisfaction being more apt.
b.Cost which has replaced price as there are many factors that affect the cost incurred other than just the cost incurred by the consumers.

c.Communication which has replace promotion and includes all types of communication happening between an organisation and its customers and is wider in concept than just promotion.

d.Convenience which has replaced place , with the advent of the internet and virtual marketing place where consumers can avail products and services with just one click of the mouse at the convenience of their homes and time.
