How can I get into IRMA?

I want to get myself enrolled in IRMA. Please advice regarding the admission process, examination fees and educational requirement for the same.

There is a huge process that goes behind admission of students in IRMA (Indian Rural Management, Anand) as it is the best business institute in India for rural management course. For admission in IRMA for PRM (programme in rural management) 2014-16, CAT 2013 scores are valid and used. There is no entrance exam as such that is held by IRMA as the decision for the examination for 2014 PRM is still pending. IRMA 2014 aspirants are requested to appear for CAT 2013. If you want to apply for IRMA then the forms are available online, you can fill them and send in the hard copy at IRMA Admissions Office. IIMs play no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme of IRMA.

There is a common application form for PRM and FPRM programmes. You are allowed to apply for either of this programme by filling out just one application form. The fees applicable for the number of programmes differ for different categories (general, OBC and SC/ST). If you apply online through SBI portal then you will get a discount of Rs. 75/-.

If you have done your graduation from any field, with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education, having 50% (45% for SC/ST/differently able person) aggregate marks at the graduation level, then you can apply for admission. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned the concerned university or institution. If you are yet to complete your final year and are expecting to complete all the requirements of graduation before July 14, 2014, then you can apply too. The first and foremost criterion is that you should be Indian nationals to apply for PRM.
