How can we categorise consumers as far as their loyalty is concerned?


As per the loyalty status of consumers, they can be divided into four groups:

a.Hard Core loyals: who are consistent with the same brand on account of high level of trust upon the product. Generally this may be seen in case of insurance, or banking.

b.Split loyals: who are loyal to more than one brand .Eg,again a person may be having two banking accounts.

c.Shifting loyals: who may shift from one brand to another.

d.Switchers: who do not stick to one brand for very long and are seen to be switching quickly to another brand.
