With the rise in animation industry in India, western companies are supporting Indian animating industry by outsourcing animation work. This is mainly because of India’s good foundation of communicating in English language, cost benefits and good infrastructure.

Giants of animation like Fun Bag Animation, Warner Brothers, Industrial Light and Magic and Disney are now started working with India to produce movies on a co-production basis.

What is the remuneration of an animator?

A fresh animator can get Rs 10000 to 15000 per month in India. With the little experience of three to five years one can fetch a salary of Rs 30000 to 40000 per month. And once you become expert in the field you can command a salary of Rs 70000 and even more than that.

Beside this you can work as freelance and earn an extra income.
