Started in a two bedroom apartment in Mumbai by four graduates, Mastek is a multinational information technology services company. In 2013, Mastek was ranked 67th in the Leader category in the ‘ The 2013 Global Outsourcing 100 service providers’ list by The International Association of Outsourcing Professional (IOAP).

Mastek has employee strength of more than 3200 individuals. It operates across India, US, Canada, UK and Asia-Pacific and with a revenue of 127 Million USD, it is a dream for aspirants to work for Mastek.

In order to be eligible, the student must be B.E/B.Tech/MCA holder with at least 60% marks. The B.Tech students in the stream of Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics and Communication are eligible to apply. M.Sc holders in streams of Computer Science or Information Technology can also apply. The students should have a good academic result throughout from SSC onwards. He/she should not have any backlogs. The student should also have good communication skills.

The recruitment process has three steps. The first step is a written test. The written test will have quantitative and analytical ability questions. The verbal ability and programing ability will also be tested in the written test. The test will also have technical questions.

The students who clear the written test qualify for the group discussion round. In the group discussion round the students should have good command over their language. The student should put valid points for discussion. They should also have good presence of mind.

The last round is the technical plus HR round. The interviewer may ask questions on C++, OOP, RDBMS, etc. The HR would ask the student to introduce him/herself. The basic questions about the student’s interest, strength and weakness are asked by the interviewer. The student must be well prepared and be confident to clear all the rounds of interview.
