Salary package that I can expect from a job in Medical Laboratory Technology

I want to know the requirement to give BITSAT.

If you want to give BITSAT then you are required to obtain a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics (subject to a minimum of 60% in each of these three subjects) in your 10+2 examination which should be done from any recognised Central or State board or its equivalent. Candidate appearing for 12th class examination in 2014 or passed the 12th class examination in 2013 are eligible to BITSAT 2013. If a student has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent then only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12th examination in year 2013 or earlier and students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to BITSAT 2014.

What is the salary package that I can expect from a job in this field?

The challenges and rewards of lab technicians are very high. The scope of a clinical laboratory worker is expected to increase in the coming years. The salary ranges from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- per month in hospitals and in clinics. The salary package tends to increase with experience. The more experience you get the more increment in your salary.
