The brainchild of Rajiv C Mody, Krishna Jhaveri, Suresh Dholakia, and Badru Agarwala Sasken came into being in 1989in a warehouse in Fremont, California. Sasken was formerly known as Silicon Automation Systems. Sasken offers research and development consultancy, software and network engineering services to manufactures.

With its headquarter in Bangalore, Sasken has offices in Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad in Indiahem. Sasken also has offices in Japan, USA, Mexico, Germany and Uk.
One of the visions of the company is to play a key role in enriching every communication experience. Inorder to solve technological challenges the company explores new opportunities to solve.

In the year 2005, the Business Today Survey, ranked Sasken, the second best company to work for in India.

Eligibility Criterion

In order to be eligible for campus recruitment the student who have completed bachelor of Technology/ Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

The students who have completed Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Network Engineering and Computer Application are eligible to apply for campus recruitment drive in Sasken Communication Technologies.

• The students should have a minimum of 60% in graduation and from SSC onwards.
• The students should have completed graduation in regular full time program.
• The students who have completed graduation after diploma courses are not eligible.
• The students should not have any arrears at the time of recruitment.

Selection Process

The selection process of the campus placement in Sasken Communication Technologies is carried out on the basis:

• Written Test
• Group Discussion
• Technical Interview
• HR Interview

Written Test
The students who are eligible will have to attend the written test conducted by the company. The students can expect a maximum of 90 questions in the written test. This test is an objective type test with multiple choices given.

The Written test is divided in a few sections.

Logical Reasoning and Verbal and Numerical Ability:

This section will cover questions from logical puzzles; series based questions, simple calculations, Simple and compound interest etc. The students can expect questions from data sufficiency, error detection questions, paragraph completion etc.

Technical Section:

In this section the students can expect questions based on C, C++ and java. In addition to these, the students can also expect questions based on networking, basic electronics, digital electronics and a few questions on microprocessor.

Group Discussion

The students who have cleared the written test will be qualified for Group Discussion round. The students are divided in a group of 10 12 students per group. A topic is given to the students.

In the group discussion round the student’s communication, interpersonal skills along with the student’s alertness are evaluated by the interviewer.

Technical Interview

The students who clear the group discussion round will be called for technical interview. The students can expect based on the latest IT trends. There will be also questions about the student’s final year project.

The interviewer may also ask the students questions based on what they have mentioned in their resume. In addition to that the students will also be given some puzzles to solve.

HR interview

The HR round is the final step in the placement process. In this round the HR will ask the student’s questions based their resume.

The student should expect a few questions based on the company. The student should visit the website of Sasken and gather some information about the company. Before going for the interview, the student should have a clear idea of why they want to join Sasken.

Along with this the students should expect questions based on his/her family background, academic qualification and some general HR questions.

In this round the interviewer will analyse the student’s personal behaviour. The student’s selection in Sasken Technology will be based on the scores obtained in the written test, group discussion and performance in the technical and HR interviews.
