Talking terms is wrong. Speaking terms is the correct expression. It means on speaking terms with someone or on friendly terms with someone enough to talk with him or her. It is often used in the negative sense e.g. I am not on speaking terms with Susan as we had a serious argument. Or, Despite the disagreement, we are friends and on speaking terms with each other.
