What does the macro environment entail?

Macro environment encompasses the larger part of the environment. It gives us a 'bird's eye view' of an organisation.It entails:
a.Demographic environment: study of the population charateristics like age, gender, occupation etc. of the populatiin studied.

b.Technological environment.

c.Political and legal environment: the policies,rules and regulations, law and order as enforced by the government.

d.Economic environment: the consumption pattern, demand and supply, interest rate, exchange rate and so on.
