What I need to do to have a web design degree?

I have just passed from 12th class and I would like to understand that what I need to do to have a web design degree? Is it really worth to have it?

Web designer’s designs are used to connect or communicate to the end user or consumers to entertain them or to keep them involved with the business. To get web designer’s degree you need to understand the day to day challenges faced by designers while creating websites or promoting the products and its services. Web designer should design such that the business gets maximum amount of exposure online. Web design degree require a person to have functional knowledge and skills that can be learned from certifications and training programs. It requires a person to have thorough knowledge in the field of web marketing or internet marketing. Its worth only you can understand if you are passionate about creativity or innovation then it will be worth putting efforts in making something creative for yourself and companies otherwise it will be like any other degree program.
