The primary work that is required to be accomplished by an investment manager is to do a thorough research of financial information while looking for investment trends and should have the ability to predict the best investment for clients. Investment managers also manage investment portfolios for banks, life insurance companies, trust companies, or other financial institutions. The main aspect of the job involves an investment manager to prepare presentations which explains or justifies investment decisions based on the data. They are also required to do data analysis that would be helpful for explaining the investment.
