What kind of Pay Packages are available for Telecommunication Engineers?

As in every other engineering field, the pay packages depend on individual capabilities and opportunities at hand. The package of a Telecommunication Engineer depends upon the status of the industry, experience, qualification and ability of the employee. As you will gain industrial knowledge, your pay package will rise accordingly.
A training period at the initial stages of the job is almost an industrial standard, wherein the graduates will be paid up to a package anywhere from Rs. 5, 000 to Rs. 15, 000 per month. The exact amount depends on the organizations policies and has been observed as dependent on the University of the Student as well. The training period ranges anywhere from 3 months to 9 months.

At the end of the training period the package of the trainee will be decided according to the performance. With experience and knowledge the pay package can rise to good numbers, especially if you have worked in various segments of the field as well as your soft skills.
Government sector jobs may have lower pay scales but the perks and other amenities which are given to Government employees may be preferable by many. It has been seen that private sector jobs give better pay packages, whereas the perks and amenities with the job may be lesser than in Government jobs.
