What is JServer and what is it used for?

JServer is a JVM. Oracle database server’s address space is shared with JServer to run. Oracle provides an Accelerator for JServer to compile the java code natively. The overhead of Java interpreter is eliminated and speeds up the execution of Java code by utilizing JServer.
