Medicinal uses of Panchagavya and its individual ingredients including cow urine are mentioned in the authoritative books of Ayurveda listed in the First Schedule of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. Its therapeutic uses in Ayurveda include Krimi Roga, Kushtha, Kandu, Shoola, Gulma, Udara Roga, Anaha, Shotha, Pandu, Kamala, Vasti Roga, Kasa, Shavasa, Atisara, Mutraroga etc.

Oseltamivir INN, marketed under the trade name Tamiflu, is an antiviral medication used to prevent and treat influenza A and influenza B. The medication is taken orally. Tamil Nadu Health Minister Dr.Vijay Bhaskar told the State Assembly that the Government has purchased four lakh TAMIFLU tablets to tackle H1N1 virus.

Under 3rd National Lok Adalat cases were taken up in the Supreme Court, High Courts, district-level courts and taluka-level courts across the country (except Assam and Uttar Pradesh). The first edition of National Lok Adalat was held in 2013 and disposed around 71.50 lakh cases. In its second edition in 2014 a record of sorts was made with the disposal of around 1.25 crore cases on a single day.

▼ S. K. Sharma plea to quash CAG appointment rejected by SC   [02-24-15]

The Supreme Court on 11th Feb’15 upheld a Delhi High Court verdict which dismissed a petition seeking quashing of the appointment of former Defence Secretary Shashi Kant Sharma as Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), saying it cannot meddle with the constitutional procedure. A bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu said there is no good ground, while dismissing the appeal against the High Court judgement which had held as valid the appointment of Sharma as the CAG.

He was Additional Director General of Police CID (Crime) when he was arrested by the CBI in July 2013 after he surrendered before a court. He was the city's Joint Commissioner of Police when the encounter took place.
