  - Mass production means continuous production without loss of time. It consists of continuous production of jobs without loss of time.
  
  - Though the cost of production is less in mass production, a good site plan, special machinery and expensive jigs and fixtures are the initial and expensive requirements.
  
  - The mass production process consists of less stock involvement and good control over production.
  
  - Processing and assembling are carefully timed in mass production.
  
  - But mass production process is least flexible because it is not easily changeable for other types of production and costlier to changeover.
