    In general, any system that produces useful products or services is called as production system.

    Production system is a process of transformation of set of inputs where the utility of goods or services can be increased. It consists of both the technological elements and organizational behavior.

    Manufacturing system can be formed by collecting manufacturing processes. It takes inputs and produces products for the need of customers.

    Basically, production process is classified in two types,

    1. Process Production
    2. Part Production
