hi

in sap we have cubes
1) basic cube which further divided into 1) standard 2) transactional cube._________basic cube resides on database
2)remote cube --->
1)sap remote cube resides on sapr/3 system communicates via sapi
2)general remote cube. resides on non sap systems and communicates via bapi
3)remote cube with services resides on either sap/non sap system communicates via services.
