How can I get into M.Tech? What is the eligibility for the course?


A candidate should be a graduate with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or aggregate of 60% in the same discipline in which he wants to earn the M.Tech degree. Consider the following eligibility criteria:

- M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering: B.Tech. or B.E. in Computer Science or Information Technology/Masters of Computer Applications from a recognized University. In addition the candidate needs a valid GATE score in Computer Science or Information Technology

- M.Tech. in Electronics and Electrical Engineering: B.Tech. or B.E. in Electrical or Electronics and Communication from a recognized university along with a valid GATE score in EC or EE

- M.Tech. in Biotechnology: B.Tech or B.E or Biotechnology/M.Sc. with biology as a subject at 10+2 or later along with a valid GATE score in Biotechnology.

- M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering: B.Tech. or B.E. in Mechanical with a valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering

- M.Tech. in Civil Engieeing: B.Tech or B.E. in Civil with a valid GATE score in Civil Engineering.

- M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering: B.Tech. or B.E. in Chemical Engineering and a valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering
