Is it fair to make women a part of men’s league team?

The number of female players who seek to play in the men league is rising day by day. They believe that they can deliver the same performance as that of men. If local people are asked they mock at the demand and denies saying that it is nothing more than an impractical demand. The entrance of women into the men’s league team can change the entire scenario. Let’s check out what the two groups have to say on the topic:

Yes

• Sports or education, it is all about the skills and knowledge. If the women have the required skills that fit in the prerequisites then she has every right to be part of men’s league team.

• Women will apply to get entrance in a particular league only when she will feel she is capable of it. If she believes she can then what’s wrong in making her a part of team.

• Gender discrimination should not be welcomed in any sector. Even if you see India, it will be seen that boy’s Indian cricket team is given importance. There is no identity of girl’s cricket team.

• There are many women who might be good in athletes but juts because she don’t find the career lucrative she backs out. The change will open the doors for women athletes.

• It will boost the earnings of media platform on which such leagues are telecasted. It can enhance the profitability of media industry.

No

• No matter what the difference in the physical stamina exists between men and women. They cannot be matched in any case. Exceptions cannot change the bigger picture.

• It talks about only that part of women which can compete with men. What about the left over part? It has to suffer more humiliation.

• There are many leagues best suited for men. If women are included in it, just because they want, it can finish up the craze for the game.

• Many league games include violence or harder physical activities. The inclusion of two opposite sexes can create a problem in league.

• The discrimination will never end between men and women. Even if women are given an entry in the league then too the have to face the disparity within the team.

Conclusion

Women and men differ in their physical strength and endurance. This is the fact and there is no problem in accepting the fact made by nature. However, there should be certain exceptions made in the men’s league team. It will make sure that no talent goes wasted, then whether it is a man or a woman.

  • It is justified to demand a league match for the women’s cricket; but taking women into men’s league match wouldn’t be fair enough. Though we talk of equality of women in every aspect, still there are some differences on the basic configuration in men and women.

The physical strength of a women and her stamina differs a lot with that of men. This is one of the main reasons due to which we have different matches for men and women in every game. Women can tolerate to any extent, but the physiological phenomena of the body structure and make up definitely speak out during the competition.

Coming on to the worst side of this combination of men and women in the same team is the blame game. If women win then they specify it to be their success in letting people down for avoiding them to join and men explain their defeat as their generosity in keeping women up; on the other hand, their defeat will be justified by the difference in the gender. There definitely lacks the sportsmen spirit.

A game with lack of sportsmen spirit is not a good one to be advocated. Hence, this is not fair to take women into men’s league team.
