TEFL/TESOL and CELTA certification

Please tell me something about TEFL/TESOL and CELTA certification.

TEFL is the abbreviation for Teach English as Foreign Language, while TESOL stands for Teach English to the Speakers of Other Languages. These are internationally recognized
certificates and qualifications, which is necessary for teachers to teach English in foreign countries. However not all countries want a TEFL or TESOL certificate in order to teach English.

Countries like Korea, Vietnam are an exception. After undergoing TEFL and TESOL Certification course, the candidate gets certification from US based association of Teachers of English as a foreign language or a second language.

CELTA is the acronym for Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Formerly it was also known as Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults. CELTA is
accredited to Cambridge ESOL and is the Level 5 certification of Qualification and Credit Framework for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. TEFL, TESOL and CELTA provide excellent job opportunities for people who want to work abroad both as a volunteer and a full time employee.
