India's huge population - bane or boon?

India’s population is going to provide us with better options in the coming future but will India withstand the necessities of the ever growing population or will it perish in this process?

For

- India’s population is a boon as it would result in high income which would in turn result in higher savings, clear indicators of economical growth.
- Our population offers us an absolute force of cheap manpower which is a very useful tool for India.
- People turning up of government services have increased significantly which is a very good sign for a country like ours as it would mean more social force.
- Our growing population has resulted in an increase of different options in various fields guaranteeing more jobs.
- India has become a nation of various talents. Larger population means a deeper pool of domestic intelligence which can be used to good effect.
- Larger skilled population means a natural inclination of foreign companies to offer us newer projects and yes we can do them more cost effectively.
- Larger population can be a big asset in labour based manufacturing units which can make us a big exporter of hand made goods - every hand can become an earning hand for the country.

Against

- It creates unemployment as the population keeps on increasing the job opportunities keeps on diminishing.
- India’s infrastructure won’t be able to withstand the burden of our ever growing population.
- Literacy rates are not in direct relation with the increase in population and this is resulting in people piling up below the poverty line.
- There is a major dip in the standard of living as well as in health departments as India has a very poorly administered population policy.
- The existing grain is getting used up at the rate of knots and the rate at which the population is growing it will be impossible to supply food and water to this increasing population.
- Awareness programs about the disadvantages of overpopulation have failed to make an impact on the societies as they are very few in number are restricted to few areas only.
- Huge unfed population can lead to criminalization of the society.

Our country’s ever growing population is a bane more than a boon as it can devastate our nation and can cause imbalance in the world. It could lead to instability of world economics and world peace as the population of India is second highest in the world. Its time that an effort is being made to create awareness among the people, which might put a halt on the mounting population.

  • Population certainly puts massive pressure on existing infrastructure, calls for ever enhancement in it to sustain and accommodate growing numbers. In the wake of scarce resources, population growth has been a major threat to mankind. Our consumption is soaring high keeping the planet polluted and contaminated with trees are being cut, forest are reduced, water is exceedingly dipping etc. Population outburst has not spared India and economy is reeling to manage demands of every citizens. Cities are bloating with literary no adequate facilities, villages are struggling with industrial pollution, general public is overburdened with hefty daily routine and traffic snarls etc. Having said that, when world is pondering to find a solution to population woes, India is proudly claiming to have youngest population, i.e. more that 65% of population is under the age of 35 years. The figure is indeed a silver lining and a reason for the whole world taking India seriously with investments are pouring in, growth rate is steadily high and with companies are no more enjoying monopoly, consumers are having their last laugh. The present situation is a win win situation for India, but question remains the same if India can manage such a massive turnouts? Educating people will make people aware of pitfalls of growing population, awareness program will also be pivotal to enrich people's wisdom. Resources are scare, we need to nurture them with utmost care for the benefits of generation to come. Let's not sway away with the present condition of the India, to avoid beating of future, population control is paramount. Quality population is only possible when everyone will get share of his formative education and spiritual mindset.

  • According to me India's huge population should be bane in India but I want to say some lines in favour of huge population in India. As we all know that our PM Narender modi recently launched "Skill India campaign" under which the govt trained 40 crore people of India in different skills. I think it's a very good step taken by our PM. By this peoples become skilled and presently many foreign companies are invested in India so these skilled person get the job easily in these companies. It's improve the GDP rate of India, Decrease unemployment, decrease crime rate etc....

  • since every coin has two faces one is head and another is tail so india huge population has also advantage as well as disadvantage but i will discuss about disadvantage. actually today huge population has adverse impact on earth ground atmosphere .today unemployment in india is going to increases due to lack of job for such growing population. any official job has fix no. of vacancy but candidate is more so it is not possible to get a job also in private jobs have same problem. finally most of engineer s , doctor change their mind and start to follow wrong way to earn money .today crime over women's is going to increase. also many events such like robbery, kidnapping etc. are going to increases so it effects of our society.
this has more effect on environment .today numbers of tree are going to cut according to public requirements but no any source is available for minimizing of CO2 and CO. Due to unbalance of emissions of CO2 and absorption in the environment causes global warming which adverse impact.
huge population is also source of corruption in our society because suppose in a job no. of vaccines are two but no. of candidates are 190. but two have money for bribe then get job but successful candidates remain unemployment. ...........
