What are the components of OEM?

Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) has the following components:

Collection agent or Oracle Management agent (OMA) - Used to collect hardware, OS related information and applications running on target.

Aggregation agent or Oracle Management Server (OMS) – Collects data from OMA and aggregates it into a repository. It is also used to view the status of systems and services through a UI.

Repository agent or Oracle management repository (OMR)- It can be a highly available and fault tolerant instance of the oracle database used to store data collected by OMS. Installers can be used to make them fault tolerant.
